Study abroad comes with lots of expectations. You’ve dreamed of this moment for a long time and now it’s finally happening!
Lots of the students have a dream of studying abroad and once this dream comes true there will be many expectations. What prospective study abroad students needs to remember is to keep the expectations realistic. Do a lot of research on the culture of the country, student life, the university, and course. Doing this it will be helpful for you for gaining some overview of the country.

We are trying to put some expectation and reality of student studying abroad. It will help you to find some information about the country.

Expectation :- The new country will be a place like heaven.
Reality          :- No one and nothing is perfect in the world. Every country is dealing with some issues, maybe with costumes, gender or financially or something else. So, everywhere prons and cons both are available. Student studying abroad should be aware of or ready to face some challenges.

Expectation :- I’ll expert in Local Language
Reality           :- Learning a different local language is not a cup of tea. You’re using your local language and English language from last 18 or 20years, then suddenly you have to learn a different language is no easy task. Definitely, it’s not impossible but yeah not too easy as well. It takes time. Student studying abroad are already busy with study or some other schedule. But yeah take some time to learn the local language, it will be the experience for you. With local language job, prospects become more.

Expectation :- Earn and learn
Reality          :- Student studying abroad is a dream for everyone. Most of the student think that they will work as a part-time and earn some bucks. It’s not as easy as we are reading. It’s difficult to manage both study and a part-time job at the same time. If you’re doing a job at the same time then make sure it won’t affect your study.

Expectation :- Make friends from a different country
Reality          :- Everyone is very excited that I’ll be studying at my dream university and will make new friends from a different country. Not all student did that. Most of the student are not approaching because of shyness or overthinking. It’s your loss. Making a new friend is a really good experience and helps to know the culture, food, places and many more of each other. Making friends is good for you, you must have someone with you when you’re in trouble.

Expectation :- Getting easily PR
Reality          :- Immigration laws of many countries are very strict. You will have to run around and find a job yourself. Whether you like it or not, you will have to start as an intern; the company will absorb after a stipulated time. Plus, jobs are not a guarantee to immigration. Remember you are still a student; the best thing you can do right now is to focus on academics, and leave the scheming and plotting to become an illegal immigrant for the moment.
